MODERN COLONIAL

Maximizing both space and functionality with beautiful finishes, this large-scale first floor renovation project was certainly a favorite. We used every inch of space in this renovation project, opening this dark and closed in house to create a warm and inviting home for the client’s and their growing family.

In the kitchen we created a clean and modern style with hidden functionality and maximum natural light. Classic warm white cabinetry paired with warm wood tones and brass fixtures enhance the client’s mid century modern taste.

Opening the walls to the living room and dining room allowed for better use of space and entertainment worthy flow.   Repurposing the former full bath and laundry closet provided a shared laundry and mudroom for this family of 5, while also creating the sweetest powder room.

COVE COTTAGE

A whole house design and renovation gave this lovely waterfront cottage new life.  Creating the collected coastal lifestyle aesthetic our client was seeking with a modern California vibe paired with hints of industrial style.  Elevating the Ensuite functionality and style and enhancing the kitchen were top priority but we did not stop there!

The Cove Cottage is special place that our client uses to escape the city and entertain family and guests in the warm New England summer months.  Refreshing the entire living space with new flooring, doors, lighting, refinished cabinets, small yet impactful kitchen layout adjustments only enhanced the breathtaking river views.

Rethinking the Primary bedroom ensuite layout with luxury features truly created the retreat space our client was seeking. While utilizing hidden space to create a beverage pantry that is used daily for coffee and tea as well as frequented by guests for wine or martinis.

Adding a true guest suite to the walk-out basement (with a view!) provided the client with increased property value as well as the much-needed space to host her large family.

ELEANOR ENSUITE

This former three-bedroom one and a half bath house was converted to a three-bedroom one and a half bath house by the previous owner to create an oversized primary bedroom.  When Erika and her husband purchased this house, they already knew how to add functionality and value without square footage.

Taking unused space in the Primary Bedroom, we created a functional and beautiful ensuite.  Maintaining the existing windows (size and location), we created a layout that maximized both space and function.  Pairing traditional elements like marble hex floor tile with contemporary fixtures, this bathroom design  will stand the test of time.

Converting this home to a three-bedroom, two and a half bath added more value than the cost of the renovation but most importantly provided Erika and her husband to have their own bathroom separate from their two kids and guests.

MORGAN MADNESS

Our Morgan Madness full-scale design and renovation project was for a repeat client who was one of our first clients and we love seeing their home evolve with each project.  The family has a vacation home in coastal Newport, RI that they love and retreat to often.  We have layered hints of sophisticated coastal style throughout their primary home to bring some of that Newport vibe to their Lincoln living.

This large-scale project included whole house floor refinishing, mudroom creation,  ensuite renovation and moving the laundry room to the bedroom level.  This house has gone from builder grade to a sophisticated coastal colonial.

The Ensuite renovation took a dated bathroom and bedroom to a functional and gorgeous retreat for these hard-working parents.  Repurposing the former laundry room as a well used mudroom for a house full of boys was a much-needed change.  Bringing the laundry to the second floor with the bedrooms enhanced the house value and the worked well for this family’s lifestyle.

HANKS HAVEN

We have loved updating this lovely coastal cape for our hardworking clients and their growing family while becoming fast friends!

Converting a former 3 season porch and breezeway to a family room with large windows, backyard access and a gas fireplace not only adds functional living space but expands the current kitchen with the removal of doors and opening a wall.  Enclosing the former breezeway with heated floors adds an amazing mudroom space with plenty of storage, cubbies and a drop zone.

Utilizing the former formal front living room as the new combo dining and living space maximizes space and creates a welcoming vibe to the family and guests.  We are adding a custom banquette for dining and new furnishings to elevate this space.

The curated coastal finishes truly speak to the clients stye and will transition well with this growing family.
